About the Artist

I started my carving in wood and then I moved to stone.

I have learned to use several different materials and I continue to experiment.

Each material has its own character and it's my job to bring out the best

from each piece.

​

My studies have been with a variety of sculpting teaching artists in several different schools. And while I have come to my artistic career as a second career,

I feel that my heart has always been in art.

​

My tendency is to life carvings and then sometimes the stone says "abstract".

I always attempt to show the movement in my pieces. I share them here for your review. Commissioned works are welcome.

I currently exhibit my work in several galleries.
